Hair mesotherapy

Hair loss, or "alopecia", is the localised or complete thinning or loss of hair as it falls out. Hair mesotherapy gives very good results, particularly in certain types of hair loss.

Genetic predisposition, environmental factors, a stressful life and the passing years lead to hair falling out, breaking and losing its vitality. These problems, which increase particularly with changes of season, rise sharply between the ages of 18 and 30 in men and between 25 and 40 in women. When our general stress level rises and tension continues for a long time, just as all our bodily functions are affected, our scalp is affected too. Increased tension causes contraction of the scalp, the muscles of the head and the small blood vessels within them, reducing blood circulation. Impaired circulation means that the hair roots and the tissues that nourish the scalp cannot receive enough oxygen, or the vitamins and organic nutrients that allow hair to renew itself.

Mesotherapy sessions are a combined treatment for women and men, whatever the cause, that improves the blood circulation of the hair and scalp and provides the organic products and vitamins they need.

Our scalp consists of an upper layer called the epidermis and a lower layer called the dermis, and because all the nourishing products we apply to our hair reach only the upper layer, they cannot reach the actual hair roots. Mesotherapy allows all the nourishing ingredients it contains to be delivered directly to the hair roots at many points with the help of very fine needles.

Effects of Mesotherapy
* Hair quality and thickness increase
* Hair loss stops
* Some lifeless hair is revitalised, increasing hair volume
* Signs of wear such as breakage, split ends and dullness quickly improve
* Dandruff, itching and spots on the scalp disappear
* Vitality returns to the hair and scalp.

It is a very beneficial method that can be used to treat hair loss in women and men. It is applied in sessions, particularly in the postpartum period when hair falls out heavily, and for seasonal hair loss. In this method, a cocktail of vitamins, circulation regulators, elastin, collagen stimulators and keratin building blocks is injected with a very fine mesotherapy needle.

How Often Is This Treatment Given?
Depending on the needs of the hair, one or two sessions a week can be given. Hair mesotherapy is recommended once a week during periods of heavy hair loss, and once a month thereafter.
