Our skin can face a variety of problems caused by external factors as well as by ageing and wear. The sun is the leading external factor that causes deformation of the skin. Heat, cold, humidity, wind, dry air and chemical substances are factors that cause the skin to age and wear. Whether related to age or even at a young age, sagging, wrinkles, enlarged pores on the skin surface, acne, blemishes, acne scars (red-brown marks) and uneven skin tone can develop.
One of the biggest problems for middle-aged people is facial sagging caused by gravity and ageing. Until recently this problem could only be corrected with face-lift surgery, but today non-surgical alternative treatment methods are also available. Non-surgical methods that do not reduce the person's quality of life during or after treatment include the lock suspension technique and focused ultrasound.
LOCK SUSPENSION
The "Lock Suspension" method, performed using specially designed silicone threads and flexible needles, is a revolutionary new technique in non-surgical face lifting. Performed under local anaesthesia, the "Lock Suspension" procedure takes about 45 minutes and, as it is carried out beneath the scalp, requires no stitches. It is a method that can be applied at any age and for any degree of sagging. Any mild pain that may be felt after the procedure can be easily relieved with painkillers, and patients can return to daily life. While older non-surgical face-lift techniques may remain effective for about 1.5 years, the "Lock Suspension" method, with its "long suspension period", can remain effective for 4–6 years and aims to preserve the natural expression of the face.
